On October 18, 2025, the Jesuit Refugee Service Canada (JRS) organized a hike on Mount Royal for the refugees we sponsor. About twenty people participated.
Advocacy and Education staff from JRS participated in Refugees & Migrants in Our Common Home, a conference that took place between the 1st-3rd of October 2025, in Rome.
The Daughters of Saint Paul are a Catholic religious congregation founded in Italy in 1915 by Father Giacomo (James) Alberione and Sister Tecla Merlo. Their goal is to evangelize through various means of communication, including books, radio, and the Internet. The congregation is also on our list of donors and supporters.
In preparation for World Day of Migrants and Refugees, which took place on October 4th and 5th, 2025, the Diocese of Montreal celebrated the Jubilee of Migrants and Refugees on September 29th at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.
