Facilitate the integration of refugee families into Quebec culture after their arrival; call them periodically and make home visits to better identify their needs and ensure their well-being.
One of the initiatives to facilitate their integration into Quebec culture is to organize French conversation groups in order to better express themselves. These are groups of different learning levels, each with a facilitator. We also organize outings to sugar shacks or sharing meetings between refugees who also volunteer in some of our activities.
Visits to refugees‘ homes also allow us to accompany them more closely in order to get to know them and their history, and especially to learn about them and their culture of origin.
