SIMULATION EXERCISE “A JOURNEY INTO EXILE”

Canada and the U.S. have recently agreed on a new border deal that would allow Canada to turn back asylum seekers coming from the U.S. Who are those people attempting to cross the border to seek asylum? Where are they coming from? Why do they leave their home? If you want to learn more about refugees and their perilous journey, we invite you to participate in our free online event, A Journey into Exile, on May 23 at 6 pm.  

A Journey into Exile is an online simulation exercise to raise awareness about the reality of refugees around the world seeking safety, security, and a better life in a new country. This immersive and interactive activity will enable you to gain first-hand experience with the challenges and hopes of refugees.
